The Symposium on Teacher Training in Exact Sciences and Computing (SLEC) consists of an event with the objective of fostering debates, discussions and reflections on the theme "Digital technologies and science teaching in contemporary society" to discuss the various roles, technologies and the professional contexts related to the theme. The event involves undergraduate courses for the training of high school teachers in the areas of science, mathematics and technology, and in 2019 occurs at the Center for Marine Studies of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), located in Pontal do Paraná, Brazil. The event's activities include mini-courses on Particle Physics and Programming Language. In this context, the ATLAS Virtual Visits is an excellent opportunity for students to know more about the research in Particle Physics and the context of the production of scientific research.

The yearly STEAM Week at the Instituto Gay Lussac is an opportunity to introduce students, parents and school community into modern debates and practices used in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths. This year, we want to bring a virtual visit to the ATLAS experiment at CERN, which is the world´s leading physics laboratory.

Our school has become "Europa Schule". Therefore we are celebrating the Europe Day with lots of workshops concerning European history, politics, cultures … The CERN is one of the most impressive projects ever been realized in European history. The workshop begins with a historical view on the circumstances in science after Word War II. Later on there will be a lecture about the CERN itself and the ATLAS experiment. The whole workshops aims for the visual visit. (Low specific physical knowledge.)

the framework of the local CNRS club and its regular conference and workshop programme, Yann Coadou will present the scientific context, past discoveries, ongoing studies and bright future of the Large hadron collider (LHC) at CERN. This is the continuation of a longstanding collaboration between the Centre de physique des particules de Marseille and the Lycée Lætitia Bonaparte. This conference, following a day-long particle physics masterclass for some of the students, will include a live connection with a scientist at CERN, leading us into a virtual visit of the ATLAS detector, the largest experiment at the LHC, while answering questions from the audience.
